Burlington at Queens Center Mall

XCE is proud to provide structural engineering services for the transformation of the former JCPenney building into a new Burlington store. Our scope includes foundation reinforcement to address updated loading conditions and accommodate the redesigned façade. This involves strengthening existing systems and adding new foundation elements as needed to ensure long-term stability and durability.

The superstructure will undergo significant modifications, including the integration of supports for extremely large window openings and contemporary cladding, along with roof reinforcement to support new RTUs and HVAC upgrades. Interior structural adjustments will be made to facilitate entrance modifications, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Through these updates, XCE ensures the building meets modern standards while delivering a bold and inviting design that redefines the Queens Center Mall as a landmark along I-495
